The decision of taking a dog to the UAE or not is fairly difficult, but I will try my best to give an insight on life with a dog in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in this post. Comparing to Europe, the UAE is not the most dog friendly country and a dog here is a huge commitment, with many factors such a long working hours, most buildings not allowing dogs, no dog parks, expensive and sometimes fully booked dog boarding.
I have taken my dogs to Germany several times over the past years, however things do change very frequently. This blog post is about my dogs flying from Abu Dhabi to Munich in June 2017. I contacted all vets that offer animal relocation in Abu Dhabi, however most of them either got the required paperwork wrong or quotes insane prices. I have done everything without an agency and saved thousands of dirhams that way. Hopefully after reading this post you will know everything that you need to fly your dogs to Germany without help too.
I love easy, cheap, creative meals that do not require a lot of time in my kitchen and still taste amazing. Buddha bowls are filling dishes made with various greens, veggies, beans and grains. The colourful bowls make healthy eating easy and delicious.
Rebella Bex is a vegan health cafe near Karlsplatz (Stachus) which has a yoga study attached to it. I really enjoyed the interior in combination with very helpful and friendly staff. This cafe is the perfect spot for a nice breakfast or lunch when going shopping in the city center.
Living in a country without eBay or amazon I feel incredibly grateful to be able to shop at the American online shop Iherb. It is also rare to find a company that delivers straight to he door step and not a P.O. box for as little as 7 dirhams. I have tried a lot of products over the years and the following four products are the ones that land in my shopping cart over and over again.
One of my favourite breakfasts are chia puddings, it is almost impossible to get bored of them as there are so many different variations. Chia seeds are also a known superfood, the seeds are filled with electrolytes, amino acids, B-vitamins, vitamin C, D, E, K, folic acid and inositol. The seeds also contain 14 minerals such as magnesium, iron and iodine.
Erbil’s is a fully vegan, Turkish restaurant located near the Munich Ostbahnhof. The owner is Erbil who used to own the infamous Royal Kebab restaurant near the central station, which unfortunately was shut down due to constructions. His new restaurant called Erbil’s does not disappoint and probably makes the best donner kebab in the world. I make sure to go at least once whenever I am in Munich.
